Women Of the Word (W.O.W.)

As the deer pants for the water brooks, so my soul pants for You O God. My soul thirsts for God, the living God; when shall I come and appear before God?" Psalm 42:1-2

These meetings focus on encouragement, mutual sharing, building up, and embracing women and the precious gift they are to the Body of Christ and to their families. The studies will be applicable for women in all stages of life.

Biblical examples of godly women and their life lessons will be used to facilitate discussion. Additionally, Christian growth will be obtained as women seek to apply Biblical principles in their very full and challenging lives.

Sessions may include topics such as:

• Becoming a Virtuous Woman
• What is my Role within my Family
• Balancing the Mary and Martha in You
• Achieving True Intimacy
• Victory as a Wife and a Mother and many other topics
  

Each Focus Group will be held during a 4 - 6 consecutive week period.

Lastly, this group will also hold occasional fun activities to help balance out our learning. The ultimate goal is to strengthen the women of ALCC so they may positively impact the lives of other women. Please check the calendar or email this team for more information.
